'Greyscale colouring' is the technique of adding colour to black and white illustrations. The different shades of grey in the image act as your tonal colouring guide, using techniques such as layering, shading and blending to colour on top of the grey shades, adding depth and breathing life into the image. As it's a beginner-friendly technique there are no strict rules, so it's a great way to create fantasy images, regardless of your skill level!
Colouring can offer people a relaxing and peaceful escape. This activity reduces stress, improves focus, and enhances fine motor skills. By engaging the creative part of the brain, it provides a calming sense of accomplishment and supports overall mental well-being.
NOTE: To get the most out of Enchanted Land of Fantasy greyscale colouring books, using good quality coloured pencils is recommended.
